PONDERAY, Idaho — Laughing Dog Brewing of Ponderay, Idaho is set to ship the first of the 2013 shipments of Sneaky Pete Imperial IPA, a collaboration between Laughing Dog and Kysela Pere et Fils, Ltd. One of Laughing Dogs distributors.
Sneaky Pete is a blend of five hop types: Simcoe, Glacier, Centennial, Vanguard and Hallertuaer, with Simcoe playing the dominate role at 30%. In addition, three separate malts were used: Honey Malt, Rye Malt, and Munich Malt, along with wildflower honey. The brew has a copious aroma of white grapefruit, citrus overtones, a complex rich middle and long flavors in the finish.
Sneaky Pete is 10% abv and around 87 ibu’s. Sneaky Pete is brewed for release in March through the end of May and available through Kysela Pere et Fils, Ltd and associated outlets and distributors.
