Go Brewing Wins Silver and Bronze at the 2026 Great American Beer Festival
PRESS RELEASE posted by Go Brewing
Chicagoland N.A. brewery takes two of three podium spots in the Specialty Non-Alcohol Beer category, competing against breweries from 49 states
NAPERVILLE, IL OCT. 12, 2026 — Go Brewing, the Chicagoland-based non-alcoholic brewery recognized as one of the fastest-growing in the United States, today announced that it won two medals at the 2026 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) competition in Denver. F*k'in Pum'kin Ale won silver and New School Sour Berry won bronze in the Specialty Non-Alcohol Beer category, medals in the category, giving Go Brewing two of the category’s three medals.
GABF is one of the most respected beer competitions in the world. This year, judges evaluated 7,267 entries from breweries across 49 states and awarded just 336 medals. Every beer is judged blind against style guidelines, on flavor alone. Go Brewing’s two medals put its seasonal releases among the best non-alcoholic beers in the country.
The medals capped a big weekend in Denver. Go Brewing was also a Premier Pour Partner at this year’s festival, pouring its non-alcoholic lineup including Suspended in a Sunbeam Pilsner, a four-time World Beer Cup medalist.
“Every beer we make has to stand up to any beer on the shelf, with or without alcohol. Earning two medals in an extremely competitive category at GABF tells us our team is doing exactly that. A pumpkin ale and a sour are some of the hardest styles to get right, especially without alcohol, and our brewers nailed both. We’re proud to bring the hardware back home to Naperville and pour a celebratory glass or two.” — Joe Chura, CEO & Founder, Go Brewing
F*k'in Pum'kin Ale (GABF Silver Medal Winner) is brewed with real pumpkin and spices. It pours brown with a light haze and a light brown head. The aroma brings cinnamon, warm allspice, nutmeg, pie crust and pumpkin. It has moderate sweetness, a medium body and a light, tingly carbonation. It’s the perfect fall pour.
New School Sour Berry (GABF Bronze Medal Winner) pours a bright pink-red with a light haze and a white head. Big ginger aromas lead, followed by orange, citrus, fruit and a hint of cranberry. It’s mildly tart with subtle sweetness, no bitterness and a gentle sourness that lingers. The body is light, with medium carbonation and a clean, mouthwatering finish. The bronze at GABF adds to a growing list of honors for the sour series, which has also earned medals at the World Beer Cup and the Best of Craft Beer Awards.
Go Brewing is sold in nearly 10,000 stores, including Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Kroger and Wegmans. Both medal winners are available at gobrewing.com and select retailers, but F*k'in Pum'kin is a limited release, so get yours before it’s F*k'in gone.
