World Beverage Institute Opens Membership to Practitioners and Cultural Organisations Worldwide
PRESS RELEASE posted by World Beverage Institute
The World Beverage Institute (WBI) has opened its international membership programme to individuals and organisations committed to the continuity of beverage cultures across generations.
WBI membership recognises experience, practical skill, learning and contribution to beverage culture. Categories range from Student Member to Fellow and Institutional Member, with assessment based on evidence of genuine engagement with beverage traditions rather than formal credentials alone.
Family businesses, traditional craftsmanship, community teaching and informal learning are recognised alongside conventional qualifications. Membership grades are assessed by WBI and cannot be selected or purchased by applicants.
Every member receives a verifiable digital certificate, membership badge, access to WBI events and ongoing resources on beverage culture worldwide.
WBI is an international cultural institution dedicated to supporting the understanding and transmission of beverage traditions. Its work spans tea, coffee, fermented beverages and local drinks, connecting growers, makers, researchers, educators and cultural organisations around the knowledge, craftsmanship and social practices through which these traditions endure.
