FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Arlington Brewing Company Awarded Gold at 2026 World Beer Cup®

Arlington, Massachusetts • Wednesday, April 23 — Arlington Brewing Company was awarded Gold at the 2026 World Beer Cup, the most prestigious beer competition in the world.

The award ceremony took place on April 22, 2026, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, where awards were given in 114 style categories and five cider categories.

Arlington Brewing Company was awarded a gold award in the English Mild or Bitter beer style category for its Trafford Ale, a British-style pub ale that is low in alcohol but big on flavour. Toasty malt plays nicely with Fuggles hops to transport your taste buds all the way to Manchester (UK, not NH) atop a dense head of smooth, creamy foam.

“We’re honored to receive such a prestigious award,” said Founder and Head Brewer Tom Allen. “From day one, our focus has been on crafting world-class examples across a wide range of styles. This recognition reinforces that commitment and proves you don’t need to be a massive operation to make exceptional beer. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us on our journey so far. This wouldn’t be possible without you, and we’re excited to see what the future holds.”

World Beer Cup, better known as the “Olympics of Beer Competitions,” recognizes the best in brewing from all over the world. This year, a group of 255 discerning beer judges, hailing from 37 countries, carefully evaluated 8,166 entries from 1,644 breweries across 50 countries. Established by the Brewers Association in 1996, the World Beer Cup Competition continues its legacy annually, representing the international brewing elite and celebrating producer craftsmanship. For additional information, visit the World Beer Cup website.

About Arlington Brewing Company

Arlington Brewing Company is a craft brewery dedicated to producing high-quality, approachable beers with a focus on flavor, balance, and consistency. Based in Arlington, Massachusetts, we believe a great community deserves great beer, and that belief drives everything from recipe development to the guest experience.

We're currently building our taproom and restaurant in Arlington, a dream we've held since day one. In the meantime, we've spent the last three years showing up for our community, hosting hundreds of local events across greater Boston, pouring great beer, and building something real without a permanent home to call our own.

By centering every experience around incredible craft beer and authentic human connections, we've continued to grow—drawing diverse crowds from all over Massachusetts and beyond. Our portfolio blends traditional brewing techniques with modern innovation, spanning hop-forward IPAs, crisp lagers, and rotating seasonal specialties.

Deeply rooted in Arlington's vibrant community and music scene, we partner with local businesses and musicians to spread joy through experiences worth remembering, while never stopping the work of refining our craft. Every pint poured reflects a commitment to quality ingredients, thoughtful brewing, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

Our Next Big Event in Arlington, Mass. (every Saturday, May 16 - Sept 26, 2026) — This May, Arlington Brewing Company is bringing back its summer concert series and beer garden for another season at the Jason Russell House in Arlington. For its third year in a row, this event will run every Saturday from May 16 through September 26, 2026. From 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM each week, locals and visitors alike are invited to enjoy live music, locally crafted beer, and food from some of the area’s most popular food trucks. And the best part? It's completely free to attend!
