AUSTIN, TEXAS (January 13, 2025) – Waterloo Ice House, Austin's beloved neighborhood gathering place since 1976, is marking its golden anniversary with a special collaboration that brings together two Austin originals. Celebrating 50 years of serving the community, Waterloo Ice House has partnered with Austin Beerworks to create a custom 50th anniversary Golden Ale that will be available on tap at all four Waterloo Ice House locations throughout 2026.
Light and balanced, with a floral aroma and a hint of hops, the commemorative Golden Ale is fully available now across all Waterloo Ice House locations. Austin Beerworks has crafted this special brew to embody the spirit of Waterloo Ice House: approachable, mellow and perfect for bringing people together.

The launch of the 50th anniversary Golden Ale is just the beginning of Waterloo Ice House's golden anniversary celebrations. The restaurant is slated to announce additional special events and surprises in early 2026 to honor this milestone alongside the Austin community that has supported the establishment for half a century.
