June 16, 2025 - Fredericksburg, Texas – In anticipation of the 2025 Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival, the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce has released the official schedule of events for the second-ever ‘Preview Week,’ scheduled to take place from July 21st - July 27th, 2025. This immersive week-long event offers a tantalizing glimpse into the Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival, set for this fall, filled with crave-worthy events, creative sips, and unforgettable foodie experiences all around town.

“We’re eager to give guests an early taste of the unforgettable experiences coming to this year’s Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival,” says Festival Producer Hayley Wakefield. “From waterfront martini soirées and underground silent discos to intimate cellar dinners and lively culinary throwdowns, Preview Week is our way of celebrating the Hill Country’s rich traditions with a fresh, playful twist. There’s something delicious in store for everyone—and plenty of surprises along the way.”

2025 Preview Week Event Schedule:

Monday, July 21st – Women for WineSense. Join an inspiring evening of connection and conversation at Alla Campagna with Women For WineSense. This educational and empowering gathering features wine tastings by Rustic Spur, Micheal Ros, Hilmy Cellars, Barelle and Pedernales Cellars, and Italian-inspired bites by Alla Campagna. 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, July 22nd – The White House Dinner. Experience an intimate multi-course dinner and wine pairing as we replicate the February 22, 2004 White House dinner menu served during the presidency of George W. Bush, which featured Becker Vineyard’s 2022 Cabernet Reserve — This is a black tie affair, with only 26 seats available as the event will take place in the cellar at Becker Vineyards. 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday, July 23rd – Shuck, Shake & Sip. Martinis, oysters, live music, and Martha’s Vineyard vibes — but make it Texas Hill Country. Come get salty and shaken (or stirred) at Dietz Distillery as we serve up a midweek mixer that’s as fresh as oysters and as chill as your vacation playlist. 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Thursday, July 24th – Tallow & Vine. This one’s for the meat and wine lovers. Chef Hunter Huffman of Mesquite at the Warehouse teams up with winemaker Rarig Ross of Ferris & Fletch for a fire-forward, mingle-style dinner that’s dripping in Hill Country flavor. Think slow, smoky, and seriously satisfying, with pours to match. 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Friday, July 25th – Slate Theory Silent Disco. This one speaks for itself, y’all. Sip on deliciously vibey Slate Theory wines in their equally vibey cave, don your headphones, and choose from multiple live DJ channels for a party like no other, where the beats are yours to control. Come for the disco, stay for the wine and late-night snacks that’ll blow your glowsticks off. 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 26th – The Elephant in the Room Boozy Brunch.  Back by popular demand, this brunch party is the only way to kick off the weekend. The weekend begins with a boozy brunch at The Albert Hotel’s White Elephant Saloon. Drink & dine like a seasoned local with boozy frosties, hangover-curing brunch bites and some serious beats by DJ Cassandra at this Fredericksburg staple. 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 26th – Fredericksburg Quesoff. Join us for a melty, cheesy, family-friendly queso throwdown featuring Fredericksburg’s boldest and best. Chips hit your hands at the door — then you taste, vote, and dance to live Tejano tunes by San Antonio’s Los Juanos. Margs and cervezas on deck. Your vote decides the 2025 queso crown. 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Sunday, July 27th – Halter Ranch Brunch. Ease into your Sunday with the calm, curated zen of brunch at Halter Ranch’s Hill Country Tasting Room, offering an oasis of fine wines that use 100% organic grapes. This seated three-course affair with thoughtful wine pairings, stunning views, and a dose of all the Hill Country feel-good vibes promises to deliver the kind of brunch that makes you wish Sunday would never end. 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Sunday, July 27th –Closing Party. End things on a high note with a wood-fired sendoff at El Quincho. Where Argentinian asado meets Hill Country swagger, this fiery finale brings the heat in all the right ways. Come for the flame-grilled tapas, stay for the cocktails, and raise a glass to the wild, wine-soaked week we’ll be talking about until next year. And with any luck, this feast will tide us over — at least until the official festival week kicks off in October!! 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Tickets and more information can be found at fbgfoodandwine.com/preview-week.
