Delaware: Calling all Delaware craft beer fans! The Official Start of Beer Season is right around the corner. American Craft Beer Week, put on annually by the Brewers Association, is happening from May 12th to May 18th. To celebrate, breweries across the state of Delaware are running a collaborative Keep The Pint program. Starting on May 15th, pop by your favorite craft brewery in the 302 to secure one of these limited, first-state-inspired vessels.
While you’re there, raise a glass to the Delaware Brewers Guild, A 501(c) non-profit advocating in government and community affairs on behalf of all Delaware craft breweries. The Guild was the organizing force behind this promotion. “Keep The Pint was a huge success last year, with most member breweries selling out in just a few hours,” says Jimmy Vennard, President of the Delaware Brewers Guild and Founder of Autumn Arch Beer Project. “Customers have already been asking about the next pint glass, so we’re excited to meet the anticipation this year and build off of last year's momentum,” he adds.
Participating breweries include Autumn Arch Beer Project, Bellefonte Brewing, Bethany Brewing, Big Oyster Brewing, Crooked Hammock, Dewey Beer Co, Dogfish Head, First State Brewing, Iron Hill Brewery, Lewes Brewing, Volunteer Brewing, and Wilmington Brew Works. As the kids are saying, don’t sleep on these… they’ll be gone before you know it!
