Vlezenbeek, Belgium – For over 200 years, Lindemans Brewery has crafted traditional lambic beer at its historic site in Vlezenbeek, Belgium. In 2025, this heritage takes a bold step forward as Lindemans introduces two innovative, mixed fermentation fruit beers: Lindemans d'Or and Lindemans Noir.

"As sixth-generation lambic brewers, Dirk and I want to keep surprising beer lovers by using authentic lambic in fresh and creative ways," says Geert Lindemans. "We're proud to debut our first blends of lambic with top-fermented Belgian strong ale. These new beers – both at 8% ABV – bring unique flavors and textures to our range."

The two new releases highlight Lindemans' distinct approach to innovation and craftsmanship. Each beer is a testament to the brewery’s dedication to complex, high-quality brews that retain natural flavors and balanced sweetness, with no added sugars or coloring.

Lindemans d'Or – A Tropical Sensation

Lindemans d'Or is a golden blond beauty crafted with mango, melon, and lime, topped with a brilliant white head. The tropical aroma hints at ripe mango, lychee, and pineapple, balanced with a touch of pear. The taste is juicy and round, blending sweet and sour with a smooth finish that invites another sip.

Lindemans Noir – Dark Fruit Elegance

Deep ruby red in color, Lindemans Noir is made with blackcurrants, blueberries, and elderberries, creating a rich foam head and an intense aroma of dark, red fruits. Its taste is fresh and round, evoking red and black currants with a hint of cherry. The acidity is balanced by a soft, refreshing aftertaste.

Clairvoyant Branding with Belle Époque Flair

Inspired by the Belle Époque era, these new beers embrace the allure of the mystical and unknown. Dirk Lindemans explains, “Our label features a fortune teller who foretells, ‘Look deep into my eyes. I will reveal a future where a mysterious stranger with a fruity character and enchanting aura crosses your path. Discover a magical presence that stimulates all your senses.’”

Exclusive New Packaging and Draft Format, Imported by Merchant du Vin

Lindemans d'Or and Lindemans Noir will be offered in new closed 4-packs and 20L PolyKegs with a US Sankey keg valve “D Series”, both designed specifically for the U.S. market in partnership with longtime US importer Merchant du Vin of Tacoma, WA. The beers are now available in nine East Coast markets: Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. “Lindemans has brought excitement, sales, profits, and innovation to the beer world for six generations. Noir and d’Or will propel new sales for every retailer that sells them, driving traffic and excitement to the Belgian beer section. We are thrilled to introduce this new world of high ABV Lindemans beers. Get your orders in because this is going to be big.” says John Staunton, East Regional Sales Manager at Merchant du Vin.

About Lindemans Brewery

Growing significantly in recent decades, Lindemans has established itself as the world’s largest independent, family-owned lambic brewery, known internationally for its dedication to quality and innovation.
