Stable Craft Brewing Announces November 2024 Calendar of Events

As the temperatures begin to drop, November rings in a special time of year to celebrate family, traditions, food and all things cozy at Central Virginia’s Stable Craft Brewing! Stable Craft is the ideal location to gather, reminisce and savor delicious hand-crafted beverages and cuisine.  November highlights include new beer and cider releases, steal the glass, live music, holiday craft workshops and a limited Pumpkin Pie Cider release over Thanksgiving.

Friday, Nov. 1 at 4pm - Friday Night Love: Pumpkin French Toast Cider Release Party Plus Winner Winner Steak Dinner featuring Live Music with Alex Arbaugh -Join us every Friday at 7 pm for the High Strike Game at Stable Craft Brewing! Here’s how to play:Objective: Ring the bell three times to win a steak dinner!  Eligibility: You must be 21 or older to participate.  Entry Requirements: Show a receipt for the purchase of food and/or beverages to enter the game.  

Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 pm -Lumber Jack Games & Live Music with The Findell's (6:45 pm) . Come in your best flannel and show us what you got. Enjoy games and music throughout the day as well as food and drink! Do you have what it takes to become the champion of LumberJack Games?  

Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1pm - Live Music with Cole Larravide, Opening Act for Three Dog Night & Paint & Sip -"Swinging in the Shade" (4 pm)

Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 4pm - Steal the Stainless Steel Pint  "Beer Season" Glass -Beer Season is Stable Craft Season....Come on out and steal this glass with ANY beverage purchase while supplies.  We'll be releasing a seasonal Baltic Porter "APRES SKI" Delicious Maris Otter Pale malt meets up with dark Munich, Debitter chocolate malt and Special B to deliver a beer layered in flavors and aromas of caramel, dark dried fruits, licorice and deep toast. Dark and rich maltiness with a smooth, full bodied mouthfeel is welcomed with well aged alcohol warmth.

Friday, Nov. 8 at 12pm - Friday Night Love: Pioneer Barrel Aged Cider 7% Release Party Plus Winner Winner Steak Dinner & Live Music with Pat Anderson- Bourbon Barrel Aged Apple Cider:  Starting with our cider base at 7%, we aged this cider for 75 days in bourbon whiskey barrels from A. Smith Bowman Distillery in Fredericksburg, Va. We then transferred to our finishing tanks and carefully blended with our semi sweet cider base. Finishing out at 7%, this “Pioneer” barrel aged cider is a harmonious blend where apple meets barrel. Expect notes of semi dry apples, caramel, honey, vanilla and dry oak. Join us every Friday at 7 pm for the High Strike Game at Stable Craft Brewing! Saturday, Nov. 9 at 12 pm - Cheers to 250 Years of Independent Trail & Live Music with Eric Yost (7 pm) . Join us for a unique and immersive experience at the Cheers to Independence Trail Market, where we celebrate the 250th birthday of our nation. This special market combines the rich history of the American Revolution with the vibrant craft beverage scene of the Waynesboro area, creating an unforgettable journey through the past and present. 

Sunday, Nov. 10 at 4 pm - Holiday Evergreen Wreath Making Workshop with Faded Poppy & Sunday Jams with Abbi Jean Faded Poppy is based in Waynesboro, VA, and are creators of whimsical & boho wedding floral arrangements. With their expertise, you will learn how to create a wreath from scratch using a wreath frame*, fresh local evergreen branches and pops of rustic accents.  *Wreath frame is 16” diameter with finished wreath size dependent upon the shape of stems used and your own whims.

Friday, Nov. 15 at 4 pm - Bourbon/Port Barrel Aged Cider Release Party To Kick Off Virginia Cider Week Plus Winner Winner Steak Dinner & Live Music with Brad Harden (7 pm) -As with our Bourbon barrel aged cider, our 7% cider base was aged 75 days in Bourbon and second use Ruby Port barrels from A. Smith Bowman Distillery in Fredericksburg, Va. Carefully blended with our semi sweet cider and conditioned over deep red wine staves, this cider is sure to please the eyes as well as your palate. Expect notes of semi dry apples, dark red fruits, spice syrups and dry oak. Join us every Friday at 7 pm for the High Strike Game at Stable Craft Brewing! Saturday, Nov. 16 at Noon -- Ciderpalooza, Free Barrel-Aged Tours & Live Music with the Cowpokes-- Celebrate Virginia Craft Cider Week with Seafood, Cider & Games!  1-4PM - FREE BARREL-AGED TOURS on the half hour  2-5PM - Games  6:45-9:45PM - Live Music by the CowPokes out of Leesburg.

Sunday, November 17 at 1 pm  -Paint & Sip "Festive Wreath" Plus Sunday Jams with Ian Vest & Pints & Ponies - Sunday is Fun day!

Wednesday, November 20 at 4 pm - IGLOO Season Starts!  Private igloos are the perfect answer to outdoor dining. Order dinner and drinks off our regular menu and enjoy the privacy of a serene winter evening on the patio!  Heated igloos seat up to 8 guests & come with a private server.  Igloos are available by reservation only Perfect for small holiday parties, family get-togethers, romantic evenings, a night out with friends & more!

Once again, our very own 7% cider base aged in A. Smith Bowman Distillery barrels. The magical blend of combining Bourbon whiskey and second use Ruby Port barrels, adding a bit of our semi sweet cider and the conditioning over Pear puree and deep red wine staves. Saturday, Nov. 30 at 6:45 pm - Live Music with the Loya Brothers Bringing the Heat!

Stable Craft Brewing, recently selected for the 2023 Virginia Green Travel Leader award and also the recipient of the 2022 Green Brewery of the Year, is the first brewery on the East Coast to launch a zero-food waste initiative for its award-winning brewery, restaurant and wedding and banquet facility. The sustainable brewery also grows its own hops, utilizes the brewing wastewater to water their hops, co-ops with a local farmer to use the spent grain for food for the cattle and has planted 1,100 trees on the farm to help with erosion and air quality. Stable Craft offers a sustainable tour by reservation only for guests to get a first-hand look at all of its sustainable initiatives.
