LINCOLN, NE, September 18, 2024 — Just in time for the Halloween season, Empyrean Brewing Co. ^® introduces a tantalizing addition to its limited collection: Spellcaster Sour Apple Ale. This unique brew combines the tartness of sour apple with a hint of caramel malt, creating a flavor reminiscent of sour apple candy.

Crafted with innovative techniques, Spellcaster is brewed using a novel yeast that naturally sours the beer during fermentation, complemented by apple juice concentrate to balance the sour profile.

"We’ve been brewing for over 30 years, and it’s still exciting to try something different," says Jim Engelbart, Operations Manager.
