East Aurora, NY – For the 5th time, 42 North Brewing’s flagship IPA, which shares its name with WNY’s premiere music festival, will collaborate on a limited edition can label featuring the 2024 festival artwork. For a limited time only, craft beer lovers and festival fans will be able to pick up the area’s favorite IPA with the special artwork by Buffalo’s own poster artist, Ryan Besch, at select retailers across 42 North’s distribution footprint, including Buffalo, Rochester, and Cleveland, Ohio.
Borderland IPA drinkers will be able to scan the QR code on the can or poster to enter the “India Pale, Wail!” Giveaway for a chance to win two (2) VIP Weekend Passes to the 3-day festival, a brewery tour of 42 North for six, $200 dollars in Borderland Festival merchandise, $150 Gift Card to 42 North Brewing and a special “variant” edition of the 2024 Borderland Festival Poster.
Six-packs of the beer that boasts a heavy use of Amarillo, Citra, and Simcoe hops to provide the tropical fruit aromas of pineapple, stone fruit, peach, citrus, and mango, will be sold at retailers around the area including Tops, Wegmans, Consumers Beverage, and independent craft beer retailers.
Borderland Festival takes place on September 13-15 this year at its home - Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, NY. This year’s headliners include rock legends The Black Crowes after a four-plus year hiatus and rising stars of the indie-folk scene, Caamp. The 2024 lineup also features southern-rocker Marcus King, big-band extraordinaire Cory Wong and the country’s most authentic Grateful Dead show, Dark Star Orchestra. Borderland Festival is
proud to bring The Wood Brothers and The Sheepdogs black to East Aurora for the first time in 4 years to help celebrate the festival’s 6th Year. Rounding out the can’t-miss lineup are reggae’s most famous backing-band The Wailers alongside nationally-touring bands Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Houndmouth, Sierra Hull, Eggy, The Dip, Wilderado and many local acts.
