Blake’s Beverage Company, the collaborative voice of three leading cider brands—Blake’s Hard Cider, Austin Eastciders, and AVID Cider Co.—continues to solidify its position as a major player in the cider industry. Entering the second half of 2024, Blake’s Beverage Company proudly reports significant growth and expansion in the market.

At the mid-year mark, Blake’s Beverage Company boasts three of the top 6 fruit-flavored cider brands in the U.S. and has achieved a $1.8 million growth increase. It currently stands as the largest independent hard cider company nationwide.

“We are thrilled with our mid-year performance and the continued growth of our brands,” said Andrew Blake, Founder and CEO of Blake's Beverage Company. "Our dedication to innovation and quality has struck a chord with consumers. The sustained growth of cider in the beverage industry reinforces our belief that cider is truly America’s Drink of the future. We remain dedicated to crafting fruit-forward hard beverages that go beyond the apple and look forward to further expanding our footprint and enhancing our product lineup in the second half of 2024.”

Blake’s Hard Cider is currently ranked as the #6 cidery in the United States, driven by a notable 23% increase totaling $2.1 million in growth. Over the last 13 weeks, Blake’s has emerged as the fastest-growing cider brand in the United States.

Blake’s Hard Cider’s flagship cider Triple Jam, a 6.5% ABV semi-sweet cider made with real berries, has seen a robust 29% growth, securing its position as #9 cider in the country over the past 13 weeks. American Apple, an 8% ABV imperial cider, has shown exceptional growth of 151%, solidifying its place as the #7 imperial cider brand and the second fastest growing imperial cider in the country. Overall, Blake’s is recognized as the #1 cidery in its home state of Michigan. Its lineup dominates the Michigan cider market, encompassing seven of the Top 10 selling ciders in the state.

Texas-based Austin Eastciders holds the #8 spot among cideries in the U.S. and has earned its position as Texas’ top-selling cidery. Its lineup makes up six of the Top 10 selling ciders throughout the Lone Star State.

Over the last 13 weeks, Austin Eastciders’ performance has remained steady, with Original, a 5% dry cider, ranking as the #3 dry cider in the nation and the mixed Variety Pack ranking as the #5 cider variety pack. Austin Eastciders’ Pineapple and Blood Orange flavors are also ranked among the top fruit-flavored ciders.

Oregon-based AVID Cider Co. represents Blake’s Beverage Company’s growing presence throughout the largest apple-growing region of the United States. After completing its multi-year expansion effort last year, Avid Cider Co. is on track to continue its commitment to product innovation, expanding its distribution channels, and growing its local market share in 2024, solidifying itself as the go-to cider option in the Pacific Northwest.
