Rochester, MI – Rochester Mills Beer Co. & Production Brewery announce a 2015 seasonal release date of April 1 for its Tongue Tied Cherry Saison Summer Ale, a strikingly refreshing Belgian-style ale that’s pure Michigan.
Tongue Tied Cherry Saison Summer Ale was introduced in a limited release last June. Due to the popularity of the beer, Tongue Tied will now be available for enjoyment during the Spring and Summer seasons across Rochester Mills’ full distribution network beginning April 1 with events celebrating the beer happening all month.
“After the overwhelming success of Tongue Tied last year, even with its limited release, we knew we had to bring this great beer back,” said Mike Plesz, Founder of Rochester Mills Beer Co. and Production Brewery. “Tongue Tied is the perfect beer for days spent sipping pints on the patio, a thirst-quenching beer as the days get longer and hotter.”
Inspired by Head Brewer, Bill Wamby’s award winning saison (farmhouse ale) recipe, Tongue Tied Cherry Saison (6.2 percent alcohol-by-volume) is a traditional Belgian-style saison ale brewed with over a thousand pounds of both tart and sweet Michigan cherries. An unfiltered, slightly creamy ale with a pale reddish amber color and nice luscious white head. The distinctiveness of unmalted wheat is enhanced by the addition of lemon, orange peel and coriander, which provides herbal spiciness to this refreshing, pure Michigan Summer ale.
Tongue Tied Cherry Saison Summer Ale will be available on draught only at bars and restaurants across Michigan including the Rochester Mills Beer Co. brewpub in downtown Rochester and in select parts of Ohio and Florida starting in April 2015.
