The 7th offering in the Big Beer Series for 2011 is S’Muttonator, a boozy double bock that apparently took the brewers from Smuttynose 30 hours to make just a single batch. The attention to detail is obvious, even at first glance. S’Muttonator pours a deep brown, mahogany color with a solid one-finger head. Dark fruits, caramel and a slight banana aroma dominate the nose.
