Beginning today, Frontier Airlines will be loading the cargo holds of planes with 91,200 cans of safe drinking water canned by Oskar Blues Brewery and provided by CAN’d Aid Foundation to fly to Puerto Rico. The first cases of water are expected to land in San Juan, Puerto Rico beginning on Friday afternoon. Frontier expects to continue to deliver water via flights that depart from Denver International Airport and connect to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

- Founded as a brewpub by Dale Katechis in 1997, Oskar Blues Brewery launched the craft beer-in-a-can apocalypse in 2002 using a tabletop machine that sealed one can at a time. In 2008, the makers of the top-selling pale ale in ColoRADo, Dale’s Pale Ale, moved into a 35,000-square-foot facility in Longmont, ColoRADo. The brewery has since experienced explosive growth-from packaging 59,000 barrels of beer in 2011 to 149,000 barrels in 2014. In December 2012, Oskar Blues opened the doors to an expansion brewery in Brevard, North Carolina. Recently, Oskar Blues secured an additional 60,000 square feet at its Colorado location to expand its production footprint. Oskar Blues now distributes trail-blazing craft brews to 41 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., as well as parts of Canada, Sweden, and the U.K.

Continuing their tradition of packaging innovation Oskar Blues Brewery is adding four more pinnertrations to the existing PINNER Throwback IPA 12-packs. The new 16-can package will launch in the ColoRADo market just in time for the holiday season while national distribution will follow in early 2017.
As Perrin Brewing continues to rapidly grow within its home state of Michigan and throughout the United States, they’re thrilled to announce distribution in the Florida market beginning in February with the launch of a specialty collaboration brew. To kick off this new launch, Perrin has invited their fellow brewery partners at Oskar Blues Brewery and Cigar City Brewing to create a one-time batch of an Imperial Oatmeal Stout, “Triangulation”. Aged in fresh-as-hell Jamaican rum barrels for six months, Oskar Blues took two seasonal favorites and gave them a boozy twist. Rum DBC clocks in at 11% ABV while Rum FIDY drops the hammer at 14% ABV. Both will feature exclusively on draft and in 19.2 ounce stovepipes at the Tasty Weasels in Longmont, CO and Brevard, NC for one day only.
