- Breakside Brewery is the invention of Scott Lawrence and Tony Petraglia. Some mutual friends introduced the two after learning they both had a desire to leave their corporate jobs in order to pursue their dream of opening a brew pub. They jumped in head first and committed their minimal financial resources and made it happen.

Breakside Brewery has added two more beers to its 2018 portfolio this month with the release of Qualia and Fourth Wave.
Breakside Brewery announces the launch of Rainbows & Unicorns – the second in a series of four rotating IPAs in 2018.
Breakside Brewery and Delta Pacific Beverage have partnered to distribute the Oregon-based brewery’s innovative, award-winning beers to several areas throughout California including South Bay, East Bay and Central Valley. They will kick-off the new partnership with a series of region-wide launch events planned for early February during San Francisco Beer Week in cities around the region.
Breakside Brewery plans to make a whopping 140+ different beers this year. Visiting one of Breakside’s three Portland, Oregon area pubs is one way to taste the full range of the brewery’s offerings, but fans across the brewery’s distribution area will still see a large variety of beers coming their way. Passionfruit Sour Ale is Breakside Brewery’s most popular seasonal and will be brewed July – September of 2016. Widmer Brothers Brewing and Breakside Brewery recently partnered to brew four different single-hop pale ales, each featuring a new experimental hop varietal. The four beers – called Catharsis, Last Roman, Sin and Grace, and Cheap Seats – are now pouring at Widmer Brothers Brewing and Pub.
Portland, Oregon’s Breakside Brewery is growing once again and will add a third brewpub location in 2016, the company announced Monday. Slated to occupy 5,000 sq. ft. of space in Portland’s “Slabtown district,” located in the Northwest part of town, Breakside said the new location would open next summer.

Oregon’s Breakside Brewery has a new barrel-aged beer up their sleeves called Bon Vivant, the latest in the rare limited edition reserve bottlings. This latest creation is a Dry-Hopped Belgian Golden Ale aged in barrels previously filled with Pinot Noir to yield a beer full of pungent fruity hop flavor and aroma and notes of Belgian and wild funky yeasts, cherry, oak and cola.
