Official description from the brewery:
We barrel aged 212 gallons of our Wee Heavy Scotch Ale in a Heaven Hill/Jim Beam Distillery bourbon barrel for 14 months. A bourbon character of wood, coconut, vanilla, caramel, licorice, brown sugar and cinnamon. These flavors will be noticeable in the aroma and aftertaste. The consumer should be enjoyed over a longer period of time to allow the beer to warm up and change in complexity. It is not meant to be consumed quickly.
