Second Self Beer Co. Launches Brewer Series with 8 Beers

Atlanta, GA — Second Self Beer Company launched its “Brewer Series,” coinciding with the September 1st shift in Georgia’s beer legislation and just in time for the Atlanta craft brewery’s third anniversary in October. The series kicks off with two dozen beers, including eight brand new brews plus 16 variations on crowd favorite A.T. aLe (5.5% ABV, 42 IBU), a simple, refreshing ale that launched earlier this year and is a tribute to Second Self’s hometown. The initial round of brews debuting as part of Second Self’s Brewers Series are now available exclusively at their taproom on Atlanta’s Westside (1317 Logan Circle NW, Atlanta, GA 30318) and will be rolling out over the course of the next month and a half.

Each unique beer that’s part of the Brewer Series was created by one of Second Self’s employees and is the result of the brewery team’s experimentation with various ingredients and techniques. A.T. aLe serves as a base for 16 of the beers, with variations brewed from sake, watermelon, wine grapes, and more. Initial Brewer Series beers available starting this month include the below, with others rolling out over the next month and a half:

  • “A Tea L,” a tea-infused A.T. aLe
  • Gin Barrel Aged A.T. aLe
  • Triple Dry-Hopped A.T. aLe
  • Motueka Dry-Hopped A.T. aLe
  • Quadruple Dry-Hopped A.T. aLe
  • Scavenger IPA, New Brown IPA
  • Honeycomb Ale

Second Self also extended their regular taproom hours this month.  Visit Mondays from 4-8pm, Thursdays from 4-9pm, Fridays from 3-9pm, Saturdays from 12-9pm, and Sundays from 1-8pm. For more information, please see www.secondselfbeer.com
