Demon Dweller represents our unadulterated Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout. Nothing stands in the way of the marriage of beer and barrel, no cookies or cake, no chocolate, coffee, vanilla or other adjuncts. This beer is a showcase for how a bourbon barrel can transform our imperial stout base over time, mellowing and melding the dark malt notes into a smooth, complex and delicious sensory experience. This beer was laid to rest in freshly dumped Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for nearly 12 months. We then pick only the best barrels to blend together before allowing it to flow from tap or can. Enjoyed best in a snifter, sipped over time as it develops in the glass.
