Move over hard seltzers. Step aside slow mornings. The original easy-drinker is back — and it’s had a serious glow-up.

As footie fixtures keep fans up later than usual this summer, drinkers across the UK are reaching for lighter libations that can go the distance.

Shandy Shack is leading the charge to bring shandy out of retirement and back where it belongs: in parks, pubs, festivals, gardens and anywhere good times happen — and that includes footie games.

This is Shandy reimagined — refreshing, fruit flavour-led, gluten-free, vegan, brewed with quality ingredients. And with all of our shandies coming in at 2.5%, that’s some seriously good times and much lighter vibes.

Born in 2018 when a trio of friends — including an NHS Doctor who still practices today — started experimenting with craft beer and natural mixers in search of something lighter than the usual pint to drink after sports, Shandy Shack has grown from a pop-up bar into a much-loved brand stocked across the UK — M&S has even started a range with Shandy Shack too, which is selling like hot cakes! (Or should we say, shandy).

Tom Stevens, Founder of Shandy Shack says,

“We started Shandy Shack because we couldn’t believe nobody was giving Shandy the love it deserved.”

Today, it sits at the centre of a growing shift towards lighter, sessionable drinks — as consumers choose flavour, balance and longer occasions where you can enjoy every moment.

Shandy is back!

Leading the lineup is the Elderflower Shandy with Lager, a crisp pilsner lifted with fragrant elderflower cordial. Made in collaboration with Bottle Green®. Floral, bright and reminiscent, made for long days in the sunshine. 2.5% ABV | Sainsbury’s sells a larger can at 440ml | RRP from £2.50

The Lemon Shandy with IPA blends a Citra and Mosaic-hopped session IPA with natural lemonade for a citrus-led, seaside-inspired take on the classic. Zesty, refreshing and easy-drinking. Made for afternoons by the sea. 2.5% ABV | shandyshack.co.uk | RRP £25.99 for 12

The Raspberry Shandy with Lager combines smooth pilsner with a burst of ripe raspberry for a crisp, lightly fruity finish. It’s bright, sessionable and built for shared screens, shared snacks and also perfect for evenings around the BBQ. Made in collaboration with Bottle Green®. 2.5% ABV | Sainsbury’s sells a larger 440ml can | RRP from £2.50

Rounding out the range is the Ginger Beer Shandy with Pale Ale, a malty pale ale with a fiery ginger beer kick. It delivers gentle warmth and depth. Made for cosy nights by an open fire. 2.5% ABV | shandyshack.co.uk | RRP £25.99 for 12
