Delaware: DelaWeAre, a statewide collaboration to help grow the Delaware craft brewing industry, is returning this Fall. Breweries from across the Small Wonder will be releasing their version of the beer during the first week of November. For this year's version, craft beer fans in the 302 can expect India Pale Ales. Hoppy goodness is guaranteed, but IPA is a pretty broad category, so expect to see a variety of ABVs, IBUs, and even SRMs across Delaware.
Regardless of subcategory, IPAs are always in style. "Last year, we brought Stouts to the table. This year, we're giving the people what they want… IPA" says Jimmy Vennard, President of the Delaware Brewers Guild and Founder of Autumn Arch Beer Project. "Our statewide collaboration is one of the highlights of the year. I'm eager to see the creativity the Guild members bring to the table this time around." It's safe to say Delawareans are going to enjoy these.
Expect to find this beer on draft up and down the state starting the first week of November. Participating breweries include Apothecary Brewing, Autumn Arch Beer Project, Bellefonte Brewing, Big Oyster Brewery, Crooked Hammock Brewery, Dewey Beer Co, Dogfish Head, JAKL Beer Works, Lewes Brewing Company, Volunteer Brewing, and Wilmington Beer Works.
