(October 16, 2025) Tampa Bay Watch is proud to announce a new partnership with Grand Central Brewhouse and the release of The Pearl, a Hazy IPA brewed to celebrate and support the health of Tampa Bay’s waters and ecosystems. As part of the brewery’s Beer for the Bay initiative, 10% of gross profit from all sales of The Pearl will directly benefit Tampa Bay Watch’s restoration and education programs.
The Pearl erupts with tropical and citrus-forward notes from El Dorado and Nelson Sauvin hops, delivering bursts of pineapple, peach, white grape, and gooseberry. Riverbend malt and Floridagrown malted wheat provide a pillowy base that softens the hop intensity while keeping the finish bright and refreshing.
Beginning in November, The Pearl will be available on draft and in cans at Grand Central Brewhouse and through Great Bay Distributors for restaurants, bars, and bottle shops throughout the Tampa Bay region.
“Tampa Bay watch has been restoring Tampa Bay for 32 years through community-driven restoration projects, educational programs and advocacy. During that time, Tampa Bay Watch has restored more than 1.5 million square feet of shoreline,” said Dwayne Virgint, Chief Executive Officer of Tampa Bay Watch. “Every pint of The Pearl will help us continue to fund our mission to restore and protect the bay through support of our oyster shell recycling program, Shells for Shorelines. To date, we have collected over 152 tons of shell for our living shoreline projects. We are grateful for the incredible and continuing support of Grand Central Brewhouse."
Grand Central Brewhouse’s ongoing Brew Good Program donates to three local nonprofits each month, with Tampa Bay Watch serving as a cornerstone partner. The Pearl represents the next step in that commitment, connecting the craft beer community directly to the preservation of the waterways that define Tampa Bay.
We are thrilled to continue our support of Tampa Bay Watch and their initiatives for the restoration and preservation of our waterways,” said Kevin Milkey, Founder & CEO of Grand Central Brewhouse.
