Beachwood Brewing is kicking off football season with the release of its newest specialty beer: Tailgate Mate, a West Coast IPA. Available beginning Thursday, September 4, 2025, Tailgate Mate is brewed for those who show up early, fire up the grill, and bring the hype to game day. As a limited specialty release from Beachwood, fans are encouraged to grab it while it lasts.
With ultra-dank, stonefruit, and tropical fruit notes, Tailgate Mate is bold enough to stand on its own yet smooth enough to keep the cheers rolling from kickoff to overtime. It’s a winning play for any tailgate lineup.
The beer’s eye-catching can design leans fully into tailgate culture with bright, football-inspired graphics—making it a fan favorite for coolers, parking lots, and living rooms alike.
“Football season kickoff deserves a beer that’s built for energy, flavor, and camaraderie,” said Jeff Scott, Director of Brewing Operations. “Tailgate Mate is our way of bringing West Coast IPA swagger to every parking lot and living room across LA for the start of the season.”
