PORTLAND, OR — Von Ebert Brewing has release “Probably Something with Pally Hazy Double IPA,” brewed in collaboration with Green Cheek Beer Co. from southern California.
“Our friends at Green Cheek brew hoppy beers, crispy lagers and big stouts – just like Von Ebert so it was only natural we partner on something this year,” said Sam Pecoraro, brewmaster of Von Ebert Brewing. “As we look to expand into the California market, we strategically reached out to some of our favorite brewers in the state for collaborations, like this super tasty hazy double IPA made with Krush and Citra hops.”
Throughout August, “Probably Something with Pally Hazy Double IPA” will be available on draft at all Von Ebert Brewing and Green Cheek Beer Co. locations as well as in 4-pack 16-ounce cans to-go and in West Coast bars, bottleshops and grocery stores.
“No visit to Portland is complete without drinking some of the rad hoppy beers and yummo lagers that our good good Pally™ Sam pushes out of the good ship Von Ebert,” said Evan Price, co-owner and brewer of Green Cheek Beer Co. “I’m honored to have this opportunity to make something together, using hop varietals that we both just freak'n looooove.”
The full list of Von Ebert Brewing’s 2025 collaborations with the fellow award-winning breweries follows with two more to come later this year:

About Von Ebert Brewing
Von Ebert Brewing was founded in 2018 by Tom M. Cook and Tom S. Cook in Portland, Oregon. Von Ebert Brewing is named after the family matriarch lovingly refer to as “Grandma Ebert.” The quintessential immigrant story, Grandma Ebert came to America from Germany via Ellis Island and relied on her grit and determination to create a successful life for her family here in the states. In that vein, the brewery has displayed those same traits and gained success through numerous World Beer Cup medals: 2025 Gold American Light Lager with Clubhaus, 2023 Gold German-Style Pilsner with Pils and 2024 Bronze Vienna Lager. Our moniker celebrates Grandma’s tenacity and honors our heritage. Von Ebert translates loosely to “House of Ebert” or in full English, “House of the Boar.”
