Batson River Brewing Releases Hook & Lager to Support the Wells Professional Firefighters

Wells, ME- Batson River Brewing & Distilling proudly announces the launch of Hook & Lager, a new American Lager crafted with a purpose. This special brew is more than just a beer; it’s a commitment to supporting the Wells Professional Firefighters in their tireless battle against cancer. Proceeds from every sale of Hook & Lager will directly contribute to essential cancer screenings, offering vital support to those who courageously serve and safeguard our community.

Reflecting on this initiative, Operation Director Jon Quade remarks, “It’s a profound opportunity for us to give back to our local Maine community in a deeply meaningful manner. Beer Release Event Details

Batson River Brewing & Distilling in Wells, Maine invites everyone to join the celebration at the release party scheduled for Thursday, June 20th. Hook & Lager will be available both on tap and in cans for takeaway. The Wells Professional Firefighters will also be in attendance, sponsoring a hot wings eating contest alongside a warm community meet & greet. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the cause through on-site donations.

Moreover, Hook & Lager will be readily accessible on draft and in convenient 4-pack cans at select locations across southern Maine. Our local partners will also be participating in the cause by donating a portion of their proceeds to support this significant program.
