California Wild Ales: Three Years of Craft Beer and Community Celebration in Ocean Beach

We're filled with gratitude and excitement as we prepare to mark our third anniversary at our Ocean Beach Tasting Room. These past three years have been an incredible journey, and we can't wait to celebrate with our loyal customers, friends, and supporters.

When we opened our doors on the corner of Newport and Cable, we envisioned creating a space where people could come together to enjoy exceptional craft beer and foster meaningful connections. Three years later, we are very proud of what we have accomplished.

Our anniversary celebration on May 18th promises to be a day filled with live music, local food, special beer releases, and, most importantly, the camaraderie that has come to define our funky little OB tasting room. We're thrilled to announce that the talented Tecolote Canyon Band will kick off the festivities at 2pm, followed by the infectious energy of Animal Control at 5pm. Their performances will set the perfect tone for a day of celebration and reflection.

Of course, no party would be complete without delicious food, and we're delighted to partner with our neighbors at Dirty Birds Wings to provide an array of scrumptious wings to complement our brews. From classic wings to inventive flavors, their offerings will satisfy every palate.

Speaking of brews, we're excited to unveil our Double Hazy IPA Anniversary Beer, a special release crafted to commemorate this milestone. 

This year's anniversary event will be a fundraiser for a cause close to our hearts. In partnership with Campus Awareness Coast 2 Coast, a local 501c(3) organization, we're committed to raising funds to help prevent violence in schools and communities by addressing mental health. A portion of proceeds from our anniversary celebration will go directly to Point Loma High School Mental Health Awareness, supporting initiatives that promote mental well-being and resilience among students and staff.

As a brewery deeply rooted in the community, we believe in using our platform to make a positive impact. Mental health awareness and support are crucial issues, especially in today's world, and we're proud to join forces with Campus Awareness Coast 2 Coast to contribute to this vital cause.

We've been privileged to witness friendships form, conversations flow, and memories made over pints of beer. From regulars who have been with us since day one to newcomers discovering our funky little tasting room for the first time, everyone who walks through our doors adds to the vibrant collage of our community.
