Brewbound, a leading trade publication covering the beer industry, today announced the first group of speakers that will take the stage during its two-day November business conference, called Brewbound Live.
Joining the event – which takes place on November 27th and 28th in Santa Monica, California, and brings stakeholders from all three tiers of the brewing industry together to discuss trends, challenges and the future of beer – is a star-studded group of industry experts who will share insights and strategies for moving the category forward.
Here’s the first glimpse at the main stage lineup:
- Felipe Szpigel, President of Craft, Anheuser-Busch InBev
- Pete Marino, President, Tenth and Blake, MillerCoors
- Andy Thomas, CEO, Craft Brew Alliance
- Simon Thorpe, CEO, Pabst Brewing Company
- Eugene Kashper, Chairman, Pabst Brewing Company

Brewbound has also teamed up, once again, with market research firm Nielsen to co-develop a survey focused on craft beer. Representatives from Nielsen will deliver the results of their research on the second day of the conference.
In addition to curating a variety of high-value panel discussions and presentations for the main stage, Brewbound has also created a lecture-style crash course for early-stage beer, cider, and malternative companies.
Coinciding with the first round of Pitch Slam, a business pitch competition sponsored by Craft Brew Alliance, the half-day session will feature presentations on all aspects of running a brewery business, including distributing, retailing, sales and marketing, branding and operations.
A variety of unique learning, networking and sampling opportunities will also be available to all attendees over the course of the 2-day event. Additional details, including the speaker, agenda, and off-site networking announcements, will be shared in the coming weeks.
Hundreds of beer industry professionals — including prominent beer company executives, leading distributors, craft-centric retailers, emerging entrepreneurs, and investors — are expected to attend Brewbound Live, which is being held at the famous Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel.
Don’t miss out on your chance to engage in thought-provoking conversations with established industry veterans, innovative thinkers, and emerging trendspotters.
