Brewbound Session: Break Down Beer Buzzwords with Nielsen

Want to know if phrases like “independently-owned” or “traditional” matter to consumers? Curious if those GABF medals actually help drive purchase decisions?

Brewbound is pleased to announce that, for the second year in a row, it has partnered with Nielsen to co-develop a consumer survey aimed at understanding the consumer familiarity around popular “buzzwords” used to market craft beer.

On June 15, at the Brewbound Session business conference in New York City, Nielsen’s Danny Brager and Caitlyn Battaglia will reveal the findings of the 2,000 person (adults 21+) survey. Together, the pair will examine survey results to see how craft beer buzzwords affect consumer purchase decisions, and drinkers’ likelihood of purchasing beer based on these descriptors.

Brager and Battaglia will also share additional beverage alcohol insights from Social Standards — a Nielsen partner that monitors and analyzes millions of beverage alcohol conversations on Twitter and Instagram.

If you want to be among the first to walk away with a better understanding of which buzzwords have value amongst craft beer drinkers, and want to learn which buzzwords have less meaning to the broader drinking population, sign up for the Brewbound Session today!

Featuring thought-provoking conversations with craft brewery founders, interactive panel discussions with leading U.S. retailers, and engaging presentations from a wide-range of industry professionals, this year’s Brewbound Session program will discuss the past, present and future of an ever-changing beer landscape.

Hundreds of brewery entrepreneurs, distributors, retailers and investors are already registered to attend the full-day event. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to discuss strategies for driving an increasingly more complex industry forward while hearing valuable lessons from entrepreneurs who have built and scaled some of the nation’s most recognizable craft brands.
