Release of Texas' first-ever cave-aged ale

Emerging from the cave one year later, Premiere, a Texas Cave Ale, is set to release April 10th! This release kicks off Roughhouse's new Underground Series, showcasing spontaneously fermented beers in the brewery's natural, underground limestone cave.
A fun day of celebration awaits! While you cannot physically go underground, you will be able to watch a virtual tour of the cave with more information about the beer while on site for release day. Brewer/Founder Davy Pasternak will set up on stage to ramble about all things cave, including excavation and the brewery's partnership with Jester King to use their mobile coolship for this series!

About: Premiere was spontaneously fermented via coolship located just outside the cave in Februrary 2020. The beer features nearly all Texas ingredients: malt from TexMalt in Fort Worth, water from our on-site well, wild yeast from the property and present in the air the night of the cooling, and hops aged in Jester's pole barn.
Limit: two bottles per person. One is recommend to enjoy immediately and another to throw in the back of your closet, forget about it, and enjoy later!
