If you like Jack Johnson, Tom Petty, John Mayer, or Sublime, then you'll love Rod Stinson! He is a local, Sacramento, CA artist who began playing and singing in high school, and has been perfecting his sound ever since. He has had several gigs in the San Luis Obispo area and was a regular at The Shack where he performed for packed houses and was very well received. Rod has recorded two albums where he acted as the engineer, producer, and arranger as well as playing all the instruments. The first, "Never Ending," was released for sale in 2001, and the second CD, "Falling," released in June, 2003. Rod relocated to the Sacramento area in late 2003 where he began playing open mics and performing at local restaurants and bars. In 2008 Rod began playing regular shows at Tokyo Fro’s Rockin’ Sushi Bar in Sacramento. In addition, to gigs in the Sacramento area Rod has played shows from Klamath Falls, Oregon, the San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Cruz, down to San Diego.
