40 Breweries with never before sipped "real ales" at Headquarters on April 2; 12 pm-4pm

It’s the firkin’ best beer event in Chicago. Headquarters Beercade (213 W. Institute Pl.) hosts their 4th Annual Firkin Fest on Sunday April 2 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The nostalgia-tinged River North bar and restaurant known for its robust game collection celebrates Chicago’s craft beer community by giving guests the chance to sip and savor beer—tapped straight from the cask; not cold-filtered, pasteurized, or carbonated by outside equipment.

The annual event, which has sold out three years in a row, attracts Chicago’s true beer lovers with 40 breweries and their custom “real ale” brews.

Guests have two ticket options: a $42 general admission pass, which includes a custom tasting glass and access to all firkins; and a $57 all-access pass, which includes food throughout the event. Portions of sales benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Guests are encouraged to buy tickets fast as they sell quickly.
