Carolina Bauernhaus is releasing this years blend of 18 Mile Red Plum on 7/22


We will be releasing bottles of this year's blend of 18 Mile Red Plum on July 22nd in the Carolina Bauernhaus taproom.

This is our 18 Mile Red sour ale aged on plums for three months. This rustic refined ale was fermented in regional wine barrels and aged for six months before blending in plums. The bright acidity of this beer is created using a strain of locally collected lactobacillus isolated by SouthYeast labs. The initial bite of this red ale is balanced by jammy plum notes and a vinous oak barrel character.

$20 per 750ml bottle with no purchase limit. Bottles will be available in the taproom at noon & we'll also have a keg on draft for you to try. Cheers!
