Perennial Artisan Ales Announces Dealer’s Choice Series

SAINT LOUIS—Perennial Artisan Ales is thrilled to announce Dealer’s Choice, a new series of cocktail-inspired craft beers. Drawing inspiration from classic cocktails and new innovations, Dealer’s Choice is a celebration of mixed drinks and our talented friends behind bars across the country.

The Last Word is our first installment in the series. A tart golden ale brewed with key lime and herbs, The Last Word is a nod to an illicit Prohibition-era tipple of the same name. Citrus and bright lactic acidity lead a pungent herbal character, all atop a subtle underlying malt sweetness. The Last Word was brewed in collaboration with The Aviary in Chicago.

As a follow-up to The Last Word, Perennial will be teaming up with Washington, D.C.’s Jack Rose Dining Saloon to create a beer inspired by their namesake cocktail, the Jack Rose. Expect to see it in early 2015.

The Dealer’s Choice series will ship to Perennial’s current distribution portfolio, which includes St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Virginia, Philadelphia, Denver, and New York and beginning in September, Seattle and San Francisco. Both bottles and draught of The Last Word will ship to these markets starting in late July, and will be available at on- and off-premise retailers.
