Stoup Brewing is looking to add a Shift Brewer/Cellar Person to our brewery team. This is a full time position. The ideal candidate will have experience in wort production, packaging, and cellar work and will be enthusiastic about working with the Stoup team.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years experience working as a brewer in a production brewery
- Clean driving record-No Exceptions
- Minimum 21 years old
- Strong independent work ethic, yet able to work well in a team setting
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Availability to work a varied schedule, potentially involving long days, evenings, and weekends
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete forms and write instructions
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to move 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to crouch, bend, twist and stand for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment
- Ability to be friendly, informative and professional while representing Stoup at outside events and in the brewery
Compensation
- $23-$25/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities-including, but not limited to:
- Wort Production on a 15 bbl system
- Cellar Work including:
- Keg washing and filling
- General cleaning of brewery and tap room
- Maintain organization of cold room
- Precise data recording
- Dry hopping, filtering and transferring of beer.
- Fermentation and bright tank CIP
- Fermentation monitoring
- Yeast harvesting and strain maintenance
- Carbonation of final product
- Laboratory experience a plus
- Occasional offsite event participation
- Occasional work at our second brewery location
