Stoup Brewing is looking to add a Shift Brewer/Cellar Person to our brewery team. This is a full time position. The ideal candidate will have experience in wort production, packaging, and cellar work and will be enthusiastic about working with the Stoup team.


Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working as a brewer in a production brewery
  • Clean driving record-No Exceptions
  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Strong independent work ethic, yet able to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
  • Availability to work a varied schedule, potentially involving long days, evenings, and weekends
  • Basic computer skills and ability to complete forms and write instructions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to move 50+ pounds regularly
  • Ability to crouch, bend, twist and stand for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to be friendly, informative and professional while representing Stoup at outside events and in the brewery


Compensation

  • $23-$25/hour depending on experience 
  • Paid Time Off increasing yearly + 5 paid Holidays

Responsibilities-including, but not limited to:

  • Wort Production on a 15 bbl system
  • Cellar Work including:
  • Keg washing and filling
  • General cleaning of brewery and tap room
  • Maintain organization of cold room
  • Precise data recording
  • Dry hopping, filtering and transferring of beer.
  • Fermentation and bright tank CIP
  • Fermentation monitoring
  • Yeast harvesting and strain maintenance
  • Carbonation of final product
  • Laboratory experience a plus
  • Occasional offsite event participation
  • Occasional work at our second brewery location
