WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT INDIVIDUAL TO FILL A KEY POSITION
Ideally, the right candidate will have experience in all areas of the brewery, but must have relevant experience in either cellar operations or as a packaging operator.
We are willing to train in all other areas.
CELLAR OPERATOR
Experience as a cellar operator in a brewery producing at least 200 barrels per month is a MUST, and will have the following qualities:
- Motivated to learn the "Barrier Way"
- Maintain strict adherance to QA/QC procedures
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment
-Problem solving, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills/knowledge are extremely important
-Strong passion for quality
-Strong work ethic
-Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack & forklift
-Ability to remain flexible with work schedule
-Ability to multitask, work with and without direction, and function effectively on a team
-Great communication skills, organizational ability and attention to record-keeping
--Computer literacy (Email, Google Drive, Sheets, addt'l specific brewing tech)
-High degree of self-motivation and ambition to improve
-Ability to work 45 hours per week, lift/move heavy items
-Ability to lift/move heavy items
-Ability/willingness to work in challenging and /or harsh environments
Primary Responsibilities Include: , Cellar CIP, Grain Handling, Yeast Management, Packaging, Warehousing
PACKAGING LINE OPERATOR
We are currently canning on an Alpha Brewing Canning Line, 30-36cpm, w/inline date code, labeler and paktech applicator
We utilize an IDD Squire plus 2 for cleaning and filling draft.
-This position is for an experienced operator who will have the passion and motivation to excel in this role while also learning other positions within the brewery
Ideal Applicants must have:
- Packaging line experience (draft equipment/bottling line/canning line)
- Problem solving, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills/knowledge are extremely important and will be utilized daily
- Ability to multitask, work with and without direction, and function effectively on a team
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Strong passion for quality
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to operate a forklift (no experience necessary)
- Ability to remain flexible with work schedule
- Computer literacy (Gmail, Google Drive, Spreadsheets, some specific brewing software)
- High degree of self-motivation and ambition to improve
- Ability to work 45 hours per week, lift/move heavy items
