Hangar 24 Brewing is a production brewery and taproom in Redlands, Ca with additional taproom/restaurants in Irvine, CA. Lake Havasu City, AZ and a soon to be opened one in Riverside, Ca. small business in Redlands, CA. We are professional, agile and our goal is to add to their team Our beers are distributed in So Cal both on and off prem. We are now hiring a Brewer to help in our pursuit of high-quality craft beer..

We are seeking a skilled Brewer to join our team. As a Brewer, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality beer and ensuring the smooth operation of the brewing process. If you have a passion for brewing and a strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

- Follow standard operating procedures for brewing, fermentation, and packaging

- Monitor and control brewing processes to maintain consistency and quality

- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment and work areas

- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products

- Maintain accurate records of brewing activities and inventory levels

- Collaborate with other team members to develop new beer recipes

- Assist with warehouse management, including receiving and organizing raw materials and packaging supplies

- Completing all task checklists, including shift transition checklists

- Communicating inventory needs to the Brewing Manager to ensure production is not hindered by product shortages.

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed

- Using and maintaining equipment, including but not limited to: bottling and canning, keg washer, forklift, pallet jacks, and handcart.

Requirements:

- 4 year college degree in a natural science (preferably one that applies to brewing), formal brewing education, or 3 years of production brewery experience. Previous experience in brewing or a related field is preferred

- Strong knowledge of brewing processes, including mashing, boiling, fermentation, and packaging

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair brewing equipment

- Comprehension on the fundamentals of Brewing Science

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects

- Forklift certification is a plus
