9:45 – 10:00 – Beyond the Bottle Shop – A presentation on growing sales into broader retail channels by Adam Lambert, VP of Sales, Dogfish Head. (immediately followed by Retailing Panel)

10:00 – 10:30 –Retailing Panel: The Fight For Shelf Space – A discussion of key channel strategies for craft brewers. Featuring Joseph Kaczynski, National Channel Manager, Boston Beer Co., Tom Fox, Partner, CM Profit Group and Adam Lambert, VP of Sales, Dogfish Head.

1:30 – 2:10: Magic Hat: An Entrepreneurial Success Story – Strategic decision making from inception to exit featuring Magic Hat Founder Alan Newman. Followed by Q&A.

2:10 – 2:30 – Capacity Constraints in a Crowded Market – reflections on growing craft beer through distribution and the ongoing issue of supply, featuring Steve Hindy, Brooklyn Brewery President and co-founder. Followed by Q&A.

2:30 — 3:10 – The Rising Craft Distribution Networks – Can distribution networks provide a new way for craft brewers to work with their wholesale partners. A presentation by Jim Schembre, GM, World Class Beer. Followed by Q&A.

3:10-3:40 NETWORKING BREAK

3:40–4:20 – Brand strategy under the digital, traditional and social media microscope featuring Mike Schneider, SVP of Allen & Gerritsen, Followed by Q&A.

4:20 – 5:00 – Contract Brewing Case Study – How Shmaltz Brewing grew an established, thriving brand – sans the brick-and-mortar roots. Featuring Jeremy Cowan, Founder, Shmaltz Brewing. Followed by Q&A.

5:00 – 5:30 – Brewers Round Table – A group discussion that looks to the future of the craft beer industry, with Greg Koch, Alan Newman, Steve Hindy and Jeremy Cowan.

Brewbound Session attendees are welcome to walk the BevNET Expo on June 4th (1:00-5:00) and the following cocktail reception. Both the BevNET Expo and the cocktail reception are held at same location as the Brewbound Session (Metropolitan Pavilion).
