From 5pm to 9pm, City Tap Penn Quarter will host the only public tapping of Family Tree, a new collaborative Belgian pale ale from Flying Dog debuting at CBC. Flying Dog created Family Tree in partnership with fellow local breweries DC Brau, Manor Hill Brewing, Vanish Farmwoods Brewery, and Waredaca Brewing, each of which was founded by former Flying Dog team members. Guests will be able to enjoy 15 drafts dedicated to these local breweries as well as Family Tree, described as a refreshing, hop-forward, and slightly acidic pale ale clocking in at 6% ABV.
