Roofers Union host charity event to kick off DC Beer Week

Roofers Union helps kick off DC Beer Week the Thursday beforehand with a ‘kick the keg’ charity event at 6pm benefiting organizations chosen by 6 local breweries. A select draft from each DC brewery (3 Stars, DC Brau, Hellbender, Right Proper, Bluejacket, and Atlas) will be available for $7; the first brewery’s keg to kick wins the crown of people’s choice and a pot of donations collected at the door for their partner charity. A portion of proceeds from the night will be donated to each brewery’s selected partner charity as well.
