Carolina Bauernhaus Ales is releasing bottles of Bradford on May 20th

We will be releasing bottles of Bradford on May 20th in the Carolina Bauernhaus taproom. Bradford is a 10 month old native barrel fermented ale aged on heirloom Bradford watermelons. Bradford watermelons were originally grown in the 1850s and renowned as the sweetest and most flavorful melons, right down to thier dark green skins, unfortunately they didn't ship well and were lost to history until recently. Our ale was fermented with a blend of native yeast locally collected by SouthYeast Labs and a blend of wild yeasts and bacteria added to the barrel. A massive amount of farm fresh Bradford watermelons were added after aging for a bright, refreshing, and very South Carolina summer-like flavor braced by a tart sour finish.

$20 per 750ml bottle with no purchase limit. Bottles will be available in the taproom at noon & we'll also have a keg on draft for you to try. Cheers!
