11/5/2016 -- Learn to Homebrew at Optimism

Optimism brewers will teach you how to home brew. Other homebrewers are brewing onsite too. Tours!

In partnership with the American Homebrew Association, Optimism and Sound Homebrew Supply are celebrating Learn to Homebrew Day.

Brewers from Optimism will be leading tutorials on our electric pilot system as well as on a home-brew direct fire system in our beer garden. Home brewers are welcome to set up their own systems in our beer garden to brew as a group, or bring beer for the bottle share. A friendly competition for the best homebrew will win a giftcard from Optimism and Sound Homebrew Supply. Sound Homebrew Supply will also be here demoing and selling equipment.

10a: mash-in time (if you are planning on brining your own equipment plan to also mash-in around 10a)
noon-1p: brewery and lab tour
1p: bottle share, winners announced at 2:30p

*bring an unmarked bottle for the share/friendly competition, we will label with a number and provide a ballot.
