Odell Brewing Company announced that it will feature the Protect Our Rivers logo on all cans and carriers of Lagerado Crispy Lager, bringing river stewardship directly into the hands of craft beer lovers.
Available summer 2026, these new Lagerado packages celebrate five years of partnership and Odell’s commitment to amplifying the nonprofit’s message that rivers are vital, vulnerable, and worth protecting.
In addition to featuring the Protect Our Rivers logo on Lagerado, Odell Brewing is making a significant donation to the organization to help fund clean rivers and healthy ecosystems, and to inspire the next generation of river advocates.
“Over the past five years, Odell and Protect Our Rivers have proven what collaboration can do. Together, we’ve organized 41 river cleanups across Colorado, mobilized 4,368 volunteers, and removed 51,341 pounds of trash from local waterways,” said Karla Baise, Director of CSR Community Outreach at Odell Brewing. “Protect Our Rivers is the perfect partner for a brewery that relies on Colorado river water to make world-class craft beer.”
According to the 2025 America’s Most Endangered Rivers report by American Rivers, half of all U.S. rivers now contain unsafe levels of pollution, threatening drinking water, wildlife, and communities across the country. There are many conservation efforts working to address these challenges, but many stall in legislation or bureaucracy.
Protect Our Rivers takes a different approach—cutting through red tape by working directly at the water’s edge. Their community-based river cleanups and access programs create immediate, tangible improvements while helping volunteers build emotional connections to the waterways they rely on.
“When people fall in love with rivers, they work to protect them forever,” said Sarah Nelson, Executive Director of Protect Our Rivers. “This partnership with Odell will help us continue to reach more communities, inspire more stewards, and accelerate the positive impact rivers desperately need. We’re thrilled that one of the very first companies to believe in our mission—Odell—has taken such an exciting step to invest in our continued success.”
Odell and Protect Our Rivers invite Coloradans to join these river protection efforts by volunteering for cleanups and enjoying Lagerado throughout 2026. Volunteer for a cleanup via the Odell website or the Protect Our Rivers website.
