Suisse Imports, a Los Angeles-based importer and distributor of premium international beer, has announced the arrival of Austral, one of Chile’s most iconic breweries, to its growing portfolio. As part of its next phase of expansion, the company has also hired new sales representatives to broaden its reach across key markets in California.
Brewed since 1896 at the southernmost tip of South America in Punta Arenas, Chile, Austral brings a distinct taste of Patagonia to U.S. drinkers. Known for its clean glacier water and rugged brewing heritage, Austral has earned a loyal following in Latin America and is now being made available to U.S. retailers through Suisse Imports.

Austral Lager – crisp and clean lager with a balanced finish
Austral Calafate Ale – ale brewed with native Patagonian berries
Austral Torres del Paine – a bock beer inspired by Chile’s iconic national park
Austral Patagona 508 – a toasty pale ale brewed in tribute to the breweries historic location
To support the rollout, Suisse Imports has expanded its sales force, adding new representatives in Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Riverside, Orange County, and San Diego to grow retail and on-premise partnerships.
