TailGate’s fourth-annual Adoption Ale Photo Contest supports the Nashville Humane Association

TailGate Brewery’s Adoption Ale Photo Contest is the Nashville-based brewery’s fourth-annual fundraiser for the Nashville Humane Association. Between now and July 4, pet owners can nominate their dog or cat to be featured on a limited edition can of TailGate Brewery’s annual Adoption Ale. 

“This is one of our favorite projects of the year,” said TailGate Brewery sole owner and original founder, Wesley Keegan. “All the pet pics put a smile on our faces, and we smile even more knowing how much of an impact our annual Adoption Ale contest has on NHA!” Over the past four years, TailGate has donated over $150,000 to the Nashville Humane Association via Adoption Ale, “Mutt Club,” and other fundraisers.

Beginning July 5, voting begins! Pet lovers can visit the contest page to vote for their favorite submission through July 5-25, 2025. Entering a pet requires a $20 donation, and every vote is a $1 donation to Nashville Humane Association. The most loved pets will appear on cans of Adoption Ale, available only at TailGate taprooms beginning August 16 – and with a special appearance at NHA's Dog Day Festival at Centennial Park in October.

For the first time, this year’s contest will have four total winners: one top dog and one top cat to be announced on social media once voting ends, and two judges’ choice picks revealed LIVE at TailGate Headquarters in Nashville on August 16 during our first-ever Dog Show! The Dog Show is a celebration of animals, beers, and the people who love them. Bring home limited edition cans of Adoption Ale featuring this year's winners, or adopt a new furry best friend at the Dog Show.
