SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - Fourteen women + ten beers + three spirits + one cider + one month + dedication to raising money for women-focused charities = Women’s Beer and Spirits Collective. With a strong focus in the Milwaukee-area and Madison-area, this Women’s History Month collaboration’s charitable impact continues to grow as it raises awareness of females in the male-dominated craft beer and spirits industry. New for 2025! The collective adds more participants, events, brands, and venues including Milwaukee’s Triple Taproom.
“There are so many charities in Wisconsin that benefit women across the state and we wanted to make sure they get highlighted,” said Julianna Pierandozzi, Sales Representative of 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. and co-founder of the Women’s Beer and Spirits Collective. “It also gave us an opportunity to work with the accounts involved in this fundraising collaboration to see if they had a personal connection to a particular charity.”
Last year the initiative raised almost $20,000 for the Sojourner Peace Center, which has been the main recipient of the donations in prior years. The 2025 Women’s History Month effort will spread monies raised to a wider selection of charities that benefit women including the following recipients: Lotus Legal Fund, Wisconsin Women's Network, 9to5, Pearls for Teen Girls, Girls on the Run, Sunshine Place, and Reproductive Justin Action Milwaukee.
Now in its fourth year, the support continues to grow from the region’s breweries. The number of companies participating has grown from the inaugural five breweries in 2022 to 14 brands in 2025. New this year, Schilling Cider, Deep Eddy vodka, Guinness, and Earth Rider Brewery are joining the coalition and even more events are slated.
“This unique collaboration of female representatives in the beverage industry, continues to brew interest, evolve and expand,” said Pierandozzi.
With almost 40 events on the horizon spanning from February 28 through March 31, the Women’s Beer and Spirits Collective-hosted events kick off with a night at Izzy Hops Sip & Nosh with the finale at Sugar Maple. Additional events to highlight include some new and interactive events including: Jukebox Bingo at The Pint, Dance Parties at Falcon Bowl and Boone and Crockett, Drag Bingo at Aftershock, and Battle Karaoke at The Weary Traveller. Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. Increases Support of Women’s Month with Addition of Triple Taproom participation, Second Women’s Month Brew Pink Shoelaces
From the inception of this coalition in 2022, 3 Sheeps Brewing has been a lead supporter of this coalition. Each year 3 Sheeps Women’s Month Beer Lady Lupulin is featured by the brewery for Women’s Month. The specialty beer crafted by female cellar team member Kate Thomma will be available on draft at the brewery’s Sheboygan taproom (1837 North Avenue) and new this year! at Triple Taproom in Milwaukee (2018 E North Avenue). Several of the Women’s Month participating bars will also feature 3 Sheeps Brewing’s Lady Lupulin on draft.
Name: Lady Lupulin IPA
Description: an IPA brewed in partnership with Pink Boots Society made with Simcoe, Mosaic, Chinook and Krush hops.
ABV: 6%
Brewer's Note: The beer will give notes of grapefruit, dark berries and rich woodiness. Availability Note: This beer will be on-tap at various Women’s Month participating bars and restaurants, and on-tap at the Sheboygan and Triple Taprooms. A fruited variant of Lady Lupulin will exclusively be available at the 3 Sheeps Taproom.
Special for 2025! 3 Sheeps Brewing is featuring a second beer: Pink Shoelaces - a blackberry fruited sour named after a song by The Chordettes. Best known for their hits “Lollipop” and “Mr. Sandman”, The Chordettes formed in Sheboygan in the late 1950s. This brew pays tribute to this female band from its hometown. This beer will be on-tap exclusively at the Sheboygan Taproom starting mid-March.
Charitable giving is important to the brewery during Women’s Month and all year long. Each month the brewery team selects one non-profit organization to receive $1 for each pint sold of Wisconsinitis. This month, 3 Sheeps selected charity is Safe Harbor of Sheboygan County which provides services to reach out to those affected by sexual assault and domestic abuse; provide support to those in crisis; and to educate individuals, families and the community, with the tools needed to empower them to live lives free of domestic abuse and sexual assault. At the brewery’s Sheboygan taproom (1837 North Avenue) $1 for each pint of Wisconsinitis sold will be donated to the mission.
New this year! 3 Sheeps will also donate $1 for each pint sold at Triple Taproom in Milwaukee (2018 E North Ave) of the following beers made by the business’s partner breweries:
- Wisconsinitis by 3 Sheeps Brewing
- Vacationland by Door County Brewing
- Everything Eventually by Hacienda Brewing
The funds raised from Triple Taproom will be donated to Wisconsin Women's Network (WWN) - advancing the status of women & girls in Wisconsin through communication, education, and advocacy.
