Washington, DC—Atlas Brew Works is excited to announce special programming for the holiday season including ugly holiday sweater parties, decorative wreath making class, a festive-themed charity 5K with Christmas karaoke, a gift card promotion, and New Year’s Eve gatherings at both Atlas Alexandria and Atlas Navy Yard.

Celebrate Giant Flaming Zombie Polar Bear’s Return with Ugly Holiday Sweater Parties - Saturday, December 7, during normal operating hours

In celebration of Giant Flaming Zombie Polar Bear DIPA’s return, don your ugliest holiday sweater on Saturday, December 7, at all three Atlas Brew Works locations in Alexandria, Ivy City, and Navy Yard to score $1 off all draft beers throughout the day.

Giant Flaming Zombie Polar Bear offers luscious citrus aromas created from a blend of Bravo, Mandarina Bavaria, Chinook, Centennial, and Cascade hops. A sturdy malt backbone balances the assertive hop bitterness and heavy citrus hop character, providing an overall flavor reminiscent of orange marmalade. The subtle heat on the finish is a reminder that this double IPA sits at 9.4% ABV.

Make-and-Take Wreath Class at Atlas Ivy City - Saturday, December 7 @ 2pm

Elevate your Giant Flaming Zombie Polar Bear DIPA celebration at Atlas Ivy City on December 7 by attending the brewery’s wreath making class in partnership with Cultivate the City. Learn how to make a decorative holiday wreath using freshly harvested materials from urban farms and local partners. For more information on the ticketed event or to reserve a spot, visit Eventbrite.

Run for a Good Cause with the Jingle Bell 5K - Sunday, December 15

Old Town Run Club is excited to present its Inaugural Charity Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk on December 15. Enjoy a post-race celebration at Atlas Alexandria Brewery & Tap Room complete with hot chocolate, coffee, and Christmas karaoke. Friends, family, and supporters are invited to join in the post-race celebration even if they don’t plan to run/walk. Proceeds benefit Tunnels to Towers, honoring the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. The charity tirelessly continues to honor and support military and first responders who continue to make a supreme sacrifice. To register to participate in the 5K or learn more about the organization, please visit here. 5K registration includes a slice of award-winning Andy’s Pizza and a drink at Atlas Alexandria.

Ring in the Near Year at Atlas Alexandria Brewery & Tap Room and Atlas Navy Yard Brewery & Tap Room - Tuesday, December 31

Atlas Brew Works will celebrate the new year at both its Navy Yard & Alexandria Brewery & Tap Room locations on Tuesday, December 31. During the day, families are invited to partake in a special afternoon celebration at Atlas Alexandria. Enjoy festive music, Atlas’ award-winning beers and Andy’s Pizza, with a simulated ball drop at 7pm, so parents can get home for bedtime and still enjoy the midnight ball drop from the couch.

For those looking to keep the party going, enjoy a special all-inclusive celebration at Atlas Navy Yard. From 9pm to 1am, for just $99, enjoy endless draft beers, select wines, and mixed drinks. Daniel Vilarrubi, Director of Brewing Operations, will dig into the cellar and pull out some limited releases special for the occasion. Enjoy exclusive barrel-aged beers and classic favorites on draft throughout the evening. The full award-winning Andy’s Pizza menu will be available for purchase. Tickets are now available on Eventbrite.

Give the Gift of Atlas this Holiday Season - ongoing through December 31, 2024

The perfect stocking stuffer or Hanukkah gift for a beer aficionado, for every purchase of $100 in Atlas Brew Works Tap Room gift cards now through the end of the year, score $10 off your tab at any of the three taproom locations. For more information on tap room locations, visit atlasbrewworks.com.

All three Atlas locations will waive rental fees for any private and semi-private events held in January and February 2025. For more information on Atlas Brew Works, its locations, events, and beers, please visit atlasbrewworks.com.
