Block 15 Brewing to Release Fresh Pow Hazy IPA for the Season–Now with More Pow

CORVALLIS, OREGON—Block 15 Brewing Co. is set to release its winter seasonal hazy IPA, Fresh Pow, at both Corvallis locations this Friday, November 22nd, 2024. Brewed fresh through January, the beer is packed with more pow for a resinous, citrusy, tropical hop avalanche with a soft, pillowy body.

Head Brewer Garrison Schmidt weighed in on this year’s recipe. “We modernized the hops for this year’s release of Fresh Pow, making it more fruity and less pine-forward than previous iterations. For fans of the New Zealand variety Nelson Sauvin, we doubled it, removed Chinook from the dry hop, and added Comet Salvo for a more prominent hop presence without adding bitterness to the final product.”

First brewed in 2018, Fresh Pow has been a wintertime staple in the Willamette Valley and beyond. With artwork from Artist and outdoor enthusiast Chris Herbst, located in Ashland, Oregon, this seasonal beer is intended to accompany adventure seekers during winter activities. Powabunga!

Fresh Pow Hazy IPA will be available at Block 15 locations in Corvallis starting Friday, November 22nd, and shortly afterward in grocery stores and craft beer establishments around the Pacific Northwest through Block 15 Distribution.
