Lazy Dog Beer Club’s Latest Release, ‘LD & The Beer Factory,’ Showcases Sweet and Whimsical Brews

(COSTA MESA, Calif.) November 14, 2024 – Lazy Dog Beer Club, a quarterly membership created by beer lovers, for beer lovers, by the team at Lazy Dog Restaurants, introduces its 24th quarterly release. The kit, “LD & The Beer Factory,” introduces members to a sweet world of imagination.

The kit includes an eight-pack of four uniquely brewed beers from four breweries across the country. Each beer name and label art represents a different form of joy and wonder of the confectionary realm. A zine included with the kit provides an overview of each brewery and beer style, plus tasting notes, ingredients and suggested pairings for each beer.

For this release, Lazy Dog Beer Club worked with Stone Brewing in San Diego; Flipside Brewing in Tinley Park Ill.; Modern Times Beer + Coffee in San Diego; and Ardent Craft Ales in Richmond, Va.

“Everlasting Everfruit” IPA with Blueberry // ABV: 7.2% // IBU 40

This amber-colored, fruity IPA has shades of purple and delivers notes of blueberry, mango, peach and pineapple. The can design uses whimsical illustrations to highlight the beer’s vibrant fruit flavors. This beer will also be featured on draft in-restaurant at all locations while supplies last.

About the Brewer: Founded in 1996, Stone Brewing pioneered the West Coast Style IPA, helping to fuel the modern craft beer revolution and inspire generations of hop fanatics. Today, Stone operates breweries in Escondido, CA and Richmond, Va., plus seven tap room and bistro locations. Stone offers a wide range of craft beers including its most popular Stone IPA, Stone Delicious IPA and Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager.

“Strawberry Scrumdiddlyumptious” Golden Ale // ABV: 5.0% // IBU: 25

This golden ale has aromatics of vanilla and berries. It tastes like crackery malt and strawberry and vanilla shortbread without being overly sweet. The label artwork pictures a large ice cream sundae topped with strawberries.

About the Brewer: Flipside Brewing, located in Tinley Park, Ill., opened in 2022. Flipside focuses on creating approachable, high-quality beers that reflect the spirit of their local community. Their taproom serves as a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, celebrating craft beer culture in the heart of the Midwest.

“Mocha Madhouse” Coffee Stout // ABV: 7.5% // IBU: 15

The rich and velvety beer is brewed using their house-roasted Black House Blend Coffee and Choloca, a liquid cacao product. The beer can features an explosion of colorful shapes with the themes of coffee and chocolate, including a chocolate waterfall and river.

About the Brewer: Modern Times Beer was founded in 2013 in San Diego’s Point Loma neighborhood. They have a tasting room in San Diego’s North Park neighborhood and a restaurant and tasting room in Encinitas.

“Fizzy Lifter” Dry-Hopped Hefeweizen // ABV: 5.0% // IBU: 10

This clear, straw-colored brew provides aromatics of citrus and notes of banana. The can artwork features a dynamic, pop-art-style cartoon face with bubbles highlighting the ingredients and the beer’s flavor profile.

About the Brewer: Ardent Craft Ales began as a cooperative brewing project in a Richmond, Va., garage in 2010, founded by friends passionate about creating and educating others on historic beer styles. In 2014, they opened their brewery and taproom in Richmond, where they continue to produce innovative, exceptional beers that celebrate both their craft and community.

“LD & The Beer Factory” was brewed in collaboration with Melvin Brewing. This release is only available to qualified Lazy Dog Beer Club members. Those interested in signing up for a Lazy Dog Beer Club membership can sign up online or at any Lazy Dog Restaurant in California, Nevada, Colorado, Florida, Virginia, Illinois or Texas. Guests in Georgia can sign up in-restaurant at any location. Once signed up, members receive their first kit: an eight-pack of 16oz craft beers, which includes Lazy Dog Restaurant house beer, and a first kit glass, plus additional perks such as draft beer upgrades, monthly perks, 10% off takeout orders, beer-to-go discounts, priority seating when there’s a wait at the restaurant, and more. Members will then receive a themed beer kit featuring exclusive beer recipes from breweries across the nation for each additional quarter in which they are an active member, plus a continuation of their membership benefits. Membership starts at $39 per quarter.

Lazy Dog Beer Club also has merchandise available online for purchase, including branded T-shirts and hats.
