True North Ale Company Wins Prestigious Beer Awards

Ipswich, MA — True North Ales has added additional hardware to its trophy cabinet with recent wins at two major brewing competitions.

AUSTRALIA

The best beers in the world were tasted and judged at the prestigious 2024 Australian International Beer Awards, with True North Ale Company earning three medals. Cerveza Mexican Lager won Gold, Northern Haze Juicy IPA won Silver, and Gran Paradiso Italian Pilsner took Bronze.

“This is our first time entering this very prestigious Australian competition, facing some of the best breweries in the world. We were thrilled that two of our core brands earned medals in highly competitive categories. Our team continues to brew beers that compete and win on the world’s largest stages,” said Seth Barnum, Head Brewer at True North Ales.

The Australian International Beer Awards is the world’s largest annual beer competition judging both packaged and draught beer. More than 2,800 beers were judged from breweries representing 21 countries.

NORTH AMERICA

The 2024 North American Brewers Association International Competition announced medalists, with True North Ale Company earning five awards. Gold medals went to Vincianne Belgian Blonde Ale, Coast to Coast American Summer IPA, and Boat Shoes English Summer Ale. Cerveza Mexican Lager won Silver and Pretzel Logic Munich Dunkel Lager earned Bronze.

“NABA judges are highly qualified. Their feedback is important to our team as we strive to make better beer with every batch,” stated Head Brewer Seth Barnum. “Winning Gold for two of our summer beers is especially satisfying at this time of year.”

In its 27^th year, the NABA competition judged more than 2,000 beverages, making it the fourth largest brewing competition in North America.
