BrewTalks_LA_970d

Brewbound is pleased to announce that Brian Mulvaney, the senior vice president of Bank of America’s beverage finance group, will speak at the upcoming Brew Talks meetup. The event will take place at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles on Nov. 3.

Mulvaney, who is actively involved in financing the growth of many emerging craft brands, will share his outlook on the craft sector and explain investment strategies for breweries looking to expand.

Among other topics, Mulvaney will address the biggest challenges small companies face as they grow and offer solutions for scaling a small brewery operation with the help of bank financing. Additionally, Mulvaney will share Bank of America’s own lending criteria, explain what the company looks for when investing in craft breweries, and describe why a brewery would seek different forms of growth capital — including VC, institutional and strategic funding — during various periods of their business life cycle.

About Brew Talks:

Since hosting our first event in the basement of a craft beer bar in Boston in 2013, the meetup series has developed into a multi-city tour where beer industry professionals can come together inside of some of the country’s most recognizable craft breweries and share business insights with one another.

The Brew Talks program is designed to provide members of the beer community with an opportunity to come together and have in-depth discussions on the business of craft beer. The events are also broadcast globally via a free live stream.

Through its eight meetups this year, Brewbound has connected with more than 900 beer industry professionals and raised $9,700 for local non-profit organizations.
